This winter is going to be amazing. Join us for a 7-day Ski Trip in the Tatra Mountains in Poland. We will be staying in Willa Tatry, a beautiful traditional Polish chalet in the heart of breathtaking landscapes!
Traditional, breathtaking and incredibly authentic, the Tatra Mountains are one of Europe’s last genuine ski resorts. A region rich in colourful culture, warm-hearted locals and amazing ski adventures. Experience the Tatra Mountains!
The Tatra Mountains are a range of corrugated peaks and spectacular well-preserved nature, quite similar to the landscape of the Alps, although smaller. Highlander culture and folklore in Zakopane and the Podhale region is very unique: typical food, traditional music and dance, wooden architecture and an amazing dialect you will have the opportunity to discover during your stay. Welcome to the Tatras region! Witamy w Tatrach!
Your fellow skiers and snowboarders will be just like you – international travellers from all over the world, exploring Europe and eager to make new international friends. Most of them will be current or former Angloville mentors – what a great chance to catch up and share some stories!
The Ski Trip programme is 100% focused on you. That means we won’t run any language sessions like on a typical Angloville language programme.

FRIDAY Party in Zakopane
Our ski trip is a complete mountain experience: not only will we enjoy local gastronomy and traditions like a typical Polish bonfire, but also we will sightsee in the Zakopane area by walking and by riding a sleigh at night. We’ll have entertaining and fun activities (games, highlander evening, party) and of course spend the days on ski slopes!
Willa Tatry is a newly (2019) opened facility; they offer comfortable and quiet rooms with a view of the mountain peaks, a nice family atmosphere and excellent homemade food.
4 or 5 days according to the chosen option and 8-hour days of fun on the slopes.
The city tour is the best way to experience the unique atmosphere of Zakopane. During the walk, we will go down the famous routes of this resort, full of folklore, colours and old, wooden villas, churches and houses, where artists and writers lived. We will have the opportunity to admire the traditional wooden architecture in the surroundings of the beautiful Tatra Mountains.
Krupówki lies in the heart of Zakopane. This representative street promenade, located in the centre of the city, is constantly bustling, vibrant with life, full of tourists and all sorts of attractions. Krupówki Street begins at the foot of Gubałówka Hill, next to the lower station of the Gubałówka hill funicular, and runs for over a kilometre southwards.
Gubałówka is one of the most popular and frequently visited places in Zakopane. It is a mountain ridge which you can get to by a funicular railway. The characteristic promenade, just over a kilometre long, offers tourists the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Tatras with Giewont in the foreground.
The Great Krokiew is the biggest ski jumping hill built on the slope of Krokiew mountain (1378 m) in Zakopane. It was opened in 1925. It is a regular venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. Since 2001, due to the success of Polish jumper Adam Małysz, the Great Krokiew has seen some of the largest audiences in World Cup ski jumping history.
