As a participant, your role is simple and rewarding – engage in relaxed, English-only conversations with our students and take part in fun, interactive activities such as role-plays, games, and workshops. You’ll also enjoy light sightseeing, all within a friendly, immersive environment.
No teaching experience required. There are no classrooms or textbooks. Angloville focuses on real-life communication, helping learners build confidence through natural, meaningful interaction.

Day One
Angloville Junior programmes at Roehampton or the University of Kent last 10 days and 9 nights, running from Thursday to Saturday.
Start: On Thursday, between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, participants arrive on campus and spend their first night there.
End: On Saturday at 1:00 PM. Please note that Saturday night is not included in the accommodation.
Typical Day
Each day of the programme consists of multiple 50-minute sessions designed to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience. Activities include 2:1 conversation sessions, group activities, debates, educational workshops, handicraft activities, games, and more.
This varied schedule ensures an enjoyable and diverse programme, keeping participants motivated, engaged, and never bored.
Fun Activities
Our programmes offer a wide range of exciting activities that enhance both the local and international experience. These include games, quiz and movie nights, field trips (weather permitting), and handicraft workshops.
If you have a favourite group game or enjoy board games, feel free to bring them along and prepare activities to share with the group!
Day One
Typical Day
🔰 Presentation sessions
In addition to the sessions, you will have the opportunity to mentor and assist two local participants with their personal projects (powerpoint presentation). Together, you will work on a topic of their choice, such as music, hobbies, or holidays, and they will present their project publicly at the end of the programme. These sessions offer a chance to develop teaching, management, and supervision skills, as well as showcase your creativity by designing an engaging presentation.
🔰 Meals
Meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are considered educational activities as well. Participants, both local and international, will be seated together at tables, ensuring a balanced mix and creating valuable opportunities for getting to know one another. Meals are not only relaxed moments but also serve as ice-breakers and a chance to deepen connections.
🔰 Free time
Did you know that you’ll have 1.5 hours of free time after lunch every day? Many participants take this opportunity to rest and relax in their rooms, while others engage in outdoor exercises like jogging, playing football, or going for a walk. Some may also enjoy the venue’s facilities such as the pool, game rooms, or spa.
🔰 Entertainment hour
During the “Entertainment hour” after dinner, organized by our International Participants, you can showcase your talents and lead your favorite hobby activity. Whether it’s singing, dancing, movies, or poetry, you are welcome to share and introduce your preferred entertainment. The daily “Entertainment Hour” offers a range of activities, such as sing-alongs with a guitar, dance or yoga classes, quiz nights, talent shows, movie screenings, and more.

After a fulfilling day of sessions and enjoyable activities, our international participants can relax during social time, while the junior participants will retire to their rooms following the curfew.

As the programme comes to an end, we will have a memorable conclusion to this fantastic week. A special ceremony will be organized for all participants, where everyone will be honored with their well-deserved Angloville certificate of participation.
This is also a good time to celebrate and organise a farewell party!

Angloville advises International Participants to arrive 1 day in the London before the programme starts. We recommend: www.skyscanner.com to look for some good flight deals.
You can book your return flight for the last day of the programme, but make sure you will be flying from the departure city, not earlier than 23:00. Generally, our participants prefer to book their return flight the day after the programme to enjoy a good night’s sleep before flying.
We will include all the important information in an info-pack (2-3 weeks before the programme starts).
We recommend you to arrive 1 day before the programme starts, which means you will have to book the accommodation yourself.
Angloville only provides the accommodation for the duration of the programme. If you decide to complete a three-week package with Angloville, booking the accommodation between the programmes will also be your responsibility.
We suggest Couchsurfing (for a free accommodation), HostelWorld and Booking.com (for a bed in a dorm or a cheap hotel deal), or AirBnB (for a private room or a flat to share).
Packing for a trip to the UK can be a bit tricky, as the weather can be quite unpredictable.
Generally speaking, you should pack for both warm and cool weather. T-shirts, tank tops, and blouses are great for warmer days, but bring a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings. The UK is known for its frequent rain, so it’s always a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella. There’s a lot to explore during our programme, so bring comfortable shoes that you can walk in all day.
Important
Don’t forget to pack all the essentials like your passport, travel insurance, and any other necessary travel documents. Also, it’s a good idea to have some cash and credit cards for shopping, snacks, and other extra activities. If you’re coming from a country with a different type of electrical outlet, you’ll need to bring an adapter plug to charge your devices.
