BALTIC Trip Overview

During the Angloville travel program, you will embark on an exciting journey across several captivating destinations, including Riga, Tallinn, Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki, Lahemaa National Park, and Vilnius. Additionally, the program includes 2 weeks in Poland at the Dwór Pomorski Hotel near Poznan.

Together with a group of over 40 teenagers (aged 13-17) and their supervisors, you will explore major tourist sites, immersing yourselves in the rich culture and history of these iconic locations. Throughout the trip, we will engage in various group activities, games, and fun exploration exercises. As an international participant, you will lead group conversations, share your culture, and promote English language use. This unique experience not only enhances their English fluency but also allows you to build new skills, become an ambassador of your own country, and learn more about diverse cultures.

IMPORTANT: We have a very limited number of seats for our trip this summer. We receive hundreds of applications weekly for these sponsored programs. Therefore, the spots are in high demand.

Riga

Riga, the capital of Latvia, is known for its beautiful Old Town, the largest cathedral, and the tallest TV tower in the EU. Key sights include the House of the Blackheads, Cathedral Square, the Castle, Guilds, and the Freedom Monument.

Tallinn

Tallinn, the gateway to Estonia, combines modernity with historic charm. Highlights include Town Hall Square, St. Olaf’s Church, Guilds, the House of the Blackheads, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and Toompea Castle.

Stockholm

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, spans 14 islands. Notable sites are the Royal Palace, the Town Hall, the Nobel Museum, the Royal Opera House, and the Vasa Museum, with a focus on the Old Town, Gamla Stan.

Helsinki

Helsinki, the largest city in Finland, blends Swedish influences. Key landmarks are Esplanadi, Market Square, Uspenski Cathedral, and Senate Square.

Lahemaa National Park

Located in northeastern Estonia, Lahemaa National Park features bays, sandy beaches, ancient forests, and traditional Estonian villages. The Viru Bog Nature Trail is a highlight.

Vilnius

Vilnius, with its UNESCO-listed historic center, offers a mix of Gothic, Baroque, and multicultural heritage. Major attractions include the Gate of Dawn, the National Philharmonic, the Town Hall, the Mickiewicz Monument, Cathedral Square, and the Hill of Three Crosses.
