ESL Teaching Assistant

Placement Purpose

We are currently recruiting for ESL Teaching Assistants interested in joining Anglovilles fun and unique cultural exchange programmes in London. This will be a temporary assignment for a minimum of 3-4 weeks in January & February 2024 based in London

During the Angloville programme, you will be a language partner, mentor and activity leader to Polish Juniors (aged between 5-18 years) eager to improve their English skills. You are not required to be a formal teacher but simply be a conversation partner and provide educational activities while having a multicultural experience and enjoying parts of London

Person Specification

We will only consider those applicants that fulfil most of the following requirements:

  • C1, C2 level English communication skills
  • Clear criminal record – mandatory for working with Juniors
  • Valid work visa for London UK
  • Available for a 3 week minimum assignment with in the following dates: January 15th – February 2nd and February 12th to 16th February
  • Students or graduates in English or Teaching courses
  • Team Leader work experience in a relevant field
  • The ideal candidate should be an advocate of learning, demonstrate positivity and excel at mentoring skills
    You should reside within commuting distance to London

  • Salary: £12 per hour
  • Transport costs refunded max £15 per day
  • Lunch refunded max £15 per day
  • Working Hours: 9.30am – 2.30pm
  • Working Week: Mon-Thurs 4 days per week
  • Temp Assignment: 16.01-02.02 and then 13/02-16/02
  • All entries and ticket prices paid by Angloville
  • FREE accredited TEFL qualification (market value £264)
  • Possibility to teach our students from the summer online for £10.5 per hour
