You have 14 days from the day you pay your deposit to cancel and receive a full refund – no questions asked. Book with complete peace of mind.

Do I need a degree or teaching experience?

No prior teaching experience is required. The 4-week TEFL course teaches you everything from scratch. A bachelor’s degree is not required for the course itself, but it’s typically needed to get a non-immigrant B (work) visa in Thailand. If you don’t have a degree, alternative teaching options are available – we’ll help you explore them.

Is job placement guaranteed?

Job placement is not guaranteed with the standalone 4-week TEFL course – but our local partners actively help you find work after certification. The 95% success rate speaks for itself. If you want a guaranteed paid placement, ask us about the 4–5 month TEFL Internship instead.

What’s the total cost and what’s the deposit for?

Total course cost: €1,265. Today you pay €585 as a deposit to secure your spot for your chosen date. The remaining €680 is paid directly to our partner training centre in Chiang Mai, no later than the start of the course. Accommodation is optional and arranged separately (€382 single / €430 double for 30 nights).

Do I need a visa for Thailand?

A 60-day Tourist Visa or 30-day Visa Exemption lets you enter Thailand and complete the training. Both can be extended by 30 days in Chiang Mai. Once you find employment, the school provides paperwork for the Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit, renewable annually for indefinite stay. We provide visa guidance throughout.

What work options are available after your TEFL course?

Once you complete the course, you can move into a range of teaching opportunities in Thailand. These may include full-time roles in government or private schools, part-time teaching in language schools, online teaching for greater flexibility, or volunteer teaching options. Graduates receive strong employment support, including job guidance, school contacts, access to vacancies, and ongoing help with finding suitable work. Paid school roles can also include support with visas, work permits, and other practical steps needed to begin teaching legally in Thailand.

Do I need a bachelor’s degree to teach in Thailand?

A bachelor’s degree is not required to complete the TEFL training itself. However, for most full-time teaching roles in Thailand, a degree is usually needed to obtain the visa and work permit required to work legally.

That said, some alternative routes may still be available depending on the school type and employer. These can include classroom assistant roles, certain agency placements, part-time language school work, or online teaching opportunities. Some graduates also choose to explore nearby destinations such as Cambodia, where degree requirements can be more flexible.

If you do not hold a degree, it is still worth speaking with us, as the best route will depend on your profile, goals, and the type of teaching opportunity you are open to.
