What’s Angloville Junior University?

Angloville Junior University is a fully-online school bringing together ambitious students (aged 14-18) from across Central Europe and world-class international mentors who share their considerable expertise and experience in the fields of education and business.

The Junior University Curriculum is delivered exclusively in English and all students possess at least a B2 level of English language proficiency, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Through a combination of interactive Lectures, group Seminars, one-to-one mentoring sessions, group project work, and self-study opportunities, mentors support students to:

  • learn crucial skills that are not taught in traditional schools which help them to become outstanding students, innovators, and future leaders
  • develop self-efficacy and understand how to manage themselves and others effectively
  • become creative, independent and productive learners who can deploy a variety of effective strategies and tools to complete tasks to the very highest standards
  • be able to communicate with others in a variety of personal, academic and professional environments through debating, presenting, convincing, and giving and receiving feedback
  • prepare for their dream career by learning what the paths to success are really like from real practitioners, and understand how to access top international universities and other post-school opportunities, from entry requirements to securing a place

Join the Team

We are looking for inspirational teachers (or aspiring teachers), mentors, and individuals with significant expertise in a variety of high profile careers, to work with talented young people (aged 14-18) from Central Europe to help equip them for their lives beyond school – from universities and career paths to gap year opportunities and essential personal and interpersonal skills.

Roles

We are interested in hiring people in the following roles:

  • Course Leader (regular evening commitment (Central European Time) + some afternoons – from October 2021 – June 2022)
  • Guest Lecturer (one-off or semi-regular evening commitment (Central European Time)

Angloville Junior University is a fully online programme, so your physical location needn’t be a barrier!

  • learning techniques
  • goal setting, productivity, time management
  • academic writing
  • sales and presentations
  • project and team management
  • university & job admission tips
  • higher education systems all over the world

Requirements:

  • Well-established background in Education or an established Industry Practitioner with expertise in any of the areas listed above
  • Experience working with youth (an additional bonus)
  • English Native Speaker / Command of English at native level (both oral and written)
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Strong internet connection of at least 20 mbp/s
