Since 2011, Angloville is proud to recruit over 4 000 mentors and help 500 of them to become professional ESL (English as a second language) teachers every year. Our programme is a stepping stone to a teaching career and a long-term journey across the world.

How It Works?

The 120-hour online course serves as a valuable complement to our 3-week practicum training. This module guides you through four key areas of language acquisition, which include reading, speaking, writing, and pronunciation. By completing this course, you will acquire the skills necessary to plan and deliver effective lessons that align with student and class learning objectives. Additionally, you will gain insights into the intricacies of teaching English to non-native speakers, become well-versed in English grammar terminology, and learn how to effectively teach it to students of all levels.

AngloTEFL stands out as one of the most renowned English teaching qualifications in the ESL market. If you aspire to become a part-time teacher and are seeking your first job opportunity, AngloTEFL provides the ideal training for you. This certification is recognized internationally, allowing you to teach both online and abroad.

👤 Who are the local participants? 

🔰  Junior programmes In our Junior programmes, we have approximately 40 local participants between the ages of 12 and 18. These enthusiastic young individuals are primarily students attending both primary and secondary schools. While many of them have not had previous opportunities to converse with native or fluent English speakers, they are eager to enhance their confidence and fluency in the language. Some of them even have aspirations to pursue higher education in the UK, the USA, etc.

Frequently asked questions

🕓 How many practical teaching hours will I acquire?

Many of you ask these questions: “how long is the day?”, “how many hours will I teach?”, etc.  Since it’s a practicum training for you, we also want to make sure that you get that leisure vibe as well!

  • Adult programme: 6 days, circa 60 hours of interactions (*) with students
  • Junior programme: 7 days, circa 70 hours of interactions (*)
  • International Programme, Junior Plus & Eurotrip: 5-10 days, circa 50-100 hours of interactions (*)

(*) We have worked hard to create a timetable that will fulfil all of your needs. You will have a chance to participate in a meaningful cultural exchange and enjoy yourself! You will be interacting with English learners for about 4 hours between breakfast and lunch and for another 4 hours in the afternoon. It does not necessarily mean having conversations only. We will be playing games, organising group activities, etc. (2 hours) and have social time after dinner. All of these activities provide educational opportunities to practice your teaching skills.

Additionally, ou will enjoy 1,5 hours of free time each afternoon during which you can use the hotel facilities such as a pool, spa, outdoor activities, etc.

🌐 Where can I teach with my AngloTEFL certificate?

If you are a native speaker, you can teach English in Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East. The countries listed below tend to have very strict qualifications and hiring standards, so they often don’t accept non-native English teachers:

🧑‍🎓 PremierTEFL & AngloTEFL Accreditation

As a beneficiary of the Scholarship, you will be required to finish a 120-hour course (within 90 days of receiving the access code to your account) and participate in in-person teaching practice organized by Angloville (3-week package up to 210 hours of real life practice).

Premier TEFL is an Irish organisation accredited by TQUK and ACDL. The course consists of 10 modules. There is a 10-question test after each module with questions related to the information provided. You will learn about the English language, its history, worldwide usage throughout the years, and how to teach grammar and vocabulary. You will also learn about classroom management and organisation as well as different approaches to teaching various aspects of English as a foreign language.

😷 Health & Satefty

Your safety is of the utmost importance for the Angloville Organisers, and it is significant that Angloville office is informed about any medical conditions of the participant that we accept into an Angloville Programme. Prior to your departure, you are required to inform Angloville about any medical condition(s).

While our programmes are incredibly unique and enjoyable experiences, it’s important to understand that coming on an Angloville Programme is a responsibility as well. It’s perfect for inquisitive and social people. Keep in mind that you’ll be speaking with different people in different capacities for the majority of each day (as much as eleven hours per day).

💰 Refundable confirmation fee

Why do we require for a refundable confirmation fee?

We seek to collaborate exclusively with dedicated individuals who will genuinely benefit from the Angloville and AngloTEFL programme.

Once your profile is approved and you have transferred the confirmation fee (or deposit), Angloville will promptly secure your seat on the Angloville bus to the venue (and back). Additionally, your hotel accommodation will be confirmed, and a food package, tailored to your dietary preferences, will be arranged for your stay at the venues during the 3-week practicum.

In the event of a cancellation, your security deposit will be utilized to cover these costs.

How much is the refundable confirmation fee?

A refundable confirmation fee of 149 EUR is required to complete your application for the Anglo-TEFL Scholarship and must be paid in full at the time of application. The non-refundable 50 EUR administration fee must be paid during your recruitment process and goes to administrative, Paypal and banking fees, as well as local Eco & Tourism taxes.

How do I get back the refundable confirmation fee?

Applicants are responsible for claiming their 99 EUR refund within 21 days of completing(*) the full Scholarship. No refund will be possible after 21 days.

(*) The Anglo-TEFL Scholarship is completed and you can claim your refundable confirmation fee when:

  • You have attended and successfully completed all of your scheduled Angloville programmes
  • You have successfully completed the online component of the Scholarship (i.e., your online TEFL course)
  • You have successfully completed the online Know-How training before starting your programme(s)
  • You have completed all the mandatory documentation on due time: a scanned copy of your passport, a police clearance certificate (if necessary), an Angloville programme compliance agreement, and a copy of your travel confirmation to the departure city (including plane, bus or train tickets).
